So it looks like you make the basic structure of the armor out of foamboard and then place clay over it before you make a negative of it for a resin version?

I wonder how heavy and maneuverable the armor will be when worn.

Regardless, very impressive armor and work. I admire your miniature Samus figurines and seeing this life-size armor is all the more impressive.

I want to make armor like this!

Well i wouldn't recommend this method. There are much easier ways to make armor for a costume. I was just bored and this was all I had. I will complete the costume when I have the time and find the easiest method to do so.

Thanks and no I don't recommend it. I was just bored and that's all I had. There are many better ways to make a costume, which I'm actually still trying to learn myself.

At this point I'm not sure. Everyone I talk to says to check out "The 501st" [link]

You should be able to find links there to how they make Star Wars costumes and helmets.
